About the Institute / Working Group
The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to deliver independent, analytical, critical yet constructive research on social, political and economic issues that affect development in Namibia. The IPPR was established in the belief that development is best promoted through free and critical debate informed by quality research. Field of Expertise
The work of the IPPR is divided into three programmes: the Democracy and Governance Research Programme, the Public Opinion Programme, and the Public Policy Analysis Programme.
Relevant Projects
Recent published research includes a Guide to the Namibian Economy, a review of electricity policy in Namibia, a series of papers on poverty and inequality in Namibia, and briefing papers on the new Land Bill and the national budget, and publications on Namibia's national elections. All papers can be downloaded from the IPPR website.
