RSSC National Workshops July and August 2010 - Introduction / Summary

Introduction

A series of workshops is planned to prepare the RSSC initiative. There will be workshops in Angola, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia. These mainly serve to discuss and scope the RSSC from a national viewpoint. However, they should also support regional integration by involving one or two participants from the other countries. The workshop programme shall be designed in a way that a number of outputs will be created. These outputs will later be compiled into a draft RSSC programme for further discussion and eventually approval by the Round Table of political representatives. (Perhaps, an additional workshop will be required to improve the regional integration.)
